Hello Everyone!
This post will be purely for the benefit of me kicking around a few ideas in my head. Nothing too crazy, just hoping something might click for me. Here’s one idea I have been running with a few times back when I was doing a few posts on ScrewAttack. I was called “Dustin’s Demo Dish-Out”. This would be where I took one of the latest Demo’s offered on PSN and basically give my initial thoughts and ideas based solely on what was offered by the demo. Also would offermy opions on what I would hope comes from the game in it’s full release.
I also thought about running with the term that I used in my last post called “Nostalgia Trip!” In which case I would play a game from yester-year when I was a kid and offer a review and just throw my general thoughts and opinions to the game. The trick would be to be able to offer something a little different than what all the other reviewers do. I like the name, I just don’t know quite how to run with it yet.
One other idea I had was to have a reinactment of a characters special move. For example, in the game “Super Dodgeball” for NES, the characters can hurl a dodgeball at the opponent to the point of launching him 30 feet in the air as well as killing them and turning them into an angel. In turn, I would try to reinact that in real life through film editting and animation. The problem, I have no animation software at all. LOL I have a fantastic version of Sony Vegas HD that is awesome, just need to be able to chaop in some animations somehow. The seris name is still up in the air, but I was thinking of something along the lines of “If That Happened.”
That’s all I have for now. If anyone else has any thoughts or ideas that might help me out. Let me know. If you have any animation software ideas, as well, let me know. Also, a poscast will be in orders with this as well. That will come at a later. Which is almost reverse if you think about it, considering most people start with a podcast first. We’ll see how it all roles out though. Thanks everyone!

I am all for running with “nostalgia trip.” We talk about new games from time to time, but you see how much more excitable I get when we take it back to the NES era. Also worth noting, I’m an Atari 2600 child, had some serious seshes on that thing in some of my earliest memories, on a black and white TV in the attic with no working sound, most likely due to a faulty adapter.
Heck yea man all those are really good ideas. Especially the re-enactment for the nes game thats awesome LOL! All the nes sports games were almost the same when made by nintendo for example World cup soccer on the NES a player would pass it in the air and your player would do a bicycle kick from hell sending the ball hurling toward the keeper and take him with the ball in the net..ah the good ole days!!! Keep up the good work man!!!
